Not sure why we still can’t add bills/recurring subscriptions manually, especially for yearly bills/subscriptions eg insurance, netflix etc. Even monthly bills don’t get picked up for a couple months if you switch accounts (which is another thread I should write).
As per this thread, we should be able to manually add bills by now, but if I go to the bills tab it just unhelpfully tells me to connect my account
Hey @R520. We’ve actually just recently made this possible on our Android version of the app, and is coming very soon to iOS. You’ll be able to manually add bills, and Snoop can pick up bills across bank accounts. Do keep an eye out for this launching very soon!
Many thanks,
Owen.
It doesn’t appear to be available (anymore)?!
I went to add a bill and it only allows me to add one once the first payment is made.
Will this feature be added/restored?
Hi @nicholas_rubin the feature being described above is exactly what you’ve found here.
Adding a manual bill can be done from any payment we’ve seen in Snoop
You’ve tapped the option the says ‘Haven’t made a payment yet’… i.e. to a company that you know you are paying at some stage but it’s not arrived in Snoop yet. The message is explaining we have to see at least one transaction before you can setup the bill.

Hi @paul_k, Thanks for clarifying. I suspect I misinterpreted the original request and I was pointing to a different problem/request - i.e. the add a bill feature only works for where there has been a transaction, whereas I would like to add prospective bills/payments before an actual payment has been made. The reason I would find this useful is so I can see how a potential payment may impact my future account position (not just in the current and following month but potentially over many months). This is a feature that Moneydashboard allows and my wife and I find it incredibly helpful. Hopefully this explanation clarifies what I’m looking for. Thanks.
Hi @nicholas_rubin - understood. We don’t have a feature to add future payments which are not already bills to known merchants. We also don’t project out more than this month and next.
I’ve shared the feedback for future consideration.
Paul
