A lot of my spend is through apps like Amazon, Deliveroo, Tesco.
I was shocked when Snoop showed me how much I spent over the last 12 months we these merchants.
I thought it would be useful to remind me about my budget before using these apps, so I created a simple shortcut. (A shortcut is an automation). Also useful for my elderly mum who often forgets about budgeting.
The shortcut will remind you about checking snoop when you open an app like Amazon. It only remind you once an hour as to not get annoying.

Run the app Shortcuts
Click Automations (bottom screen)
Click + (top, to create new automation)
Choose “App” (from list)
Click “Choose”
Tick the apps that you use to buy stuff (e.g Amazon, Deliveroo). Then click Done.
Click “Run Immediately”
Click “Next”
Click “Reminder To Budget” (or find Run Shortcut)
