Hi everyone, it’s that time again!
Our next release is coming tomorrow and has some fab new features. We also have some big news.
New features
-
Regular payments – we’ve introduced a new feature in the ‘Explore’ section. You’ll see a list of all the regular payments that Snoop can see. You can keep track of how much you’re spending and each month Snoop will tell you if any of these payments have changed. (We’re adding more and more merchants to this feature – if one of your regular payments is missing, just let us know at hello@snoop.app)
-
New ‘Money Insights’ – this is a new category of Snoop you’ll start to see on your Snoop feed. The first of these new Insight snoops will be a weekly summary of your spending, appearing each Monday. We’ll also give you a monthly summary at the start of each month.
-
One Time Passcodes – new Snoop users will now get a text message to validate their mobile number, as part of registering.
Bugs and Cosmetic Changes
- We’ve improved the re-categorisation process and fixed a problem impacting changes of more than 100 transactions at the same merchant.
- We’ve addressed some small bugs and made some stability improvements.
Our big news – we’re going public – thanks to you!
We’re launching this version of Snoop in the public app stores, so this time around you’ll be prompted to install an upgrade from there. Thanks so much for being part of our Beta programme – we couldn’t have got this far without all your support, feedback and ideas.
Although the Beta programme is ending, you’ll always be our original ‘Beta Snoopers’ (as your designation here on SnoopSpace will show) and we’d love you to keep on engaging with us as you do now. We’re only at the very beginning of the development of Snoop. There’s so much more still to do, and if it’s possible we’d love your help. Thanks once again for all you’ve done for us to-date.
As we launch the new release on Thursday morning (from 9am), we will have an outage. I’ll post here as soon as we’re finished around lunchtime.
