Just read your latest info on Chip. Previously you’d said AI was worth it if you were saving more than 3700.
Latest Snoop now says more than 4600.
Why the change?
Literally as we’ve discussed it, the Chip people have noticed the loophole! Wonder if that’s just a coincidence? From 25th April we will all have to pay the £1.50/28 days (£19.50/year fee) even if autosave is disabled. However, if you have the full £10,000 in Chip+1 that still works out at a return equivalent to 1.055%. More than you can get from most other instant access accounts these days…
Hi meedavid, it’s because the best easy access account (where you would overflow from Chip once you hit the limit) now only pays 0.45% (previously it was 0.6%) 
OK I’m confused.
Chip basic you get 1.25 on 2000, you then stick your money elsewhere until you hit the level where being in ChipAI and paying 1.50 every 28 days is better.
So if other rate has gone down, surely ChipAI is better at lower level not higher??
