Suggestion: More Generic Categories

Hi there,

App looks pretty good so far. I like the snoops, they are better than the insights that Yolt provides!

One thing that Yolt got right from my perspective was the list of Generic categories. It would be good to see more Generic categories as a lot of my transactions end up in General or Shopping. I know you guys are working on custom categories, which is great and probably will meet this suggestion but that sounds like a bigger task than adding Generic ones (which may remove or at least delay the need for custom categories).

Some suggestions for Generic categories:

Bills
Education
Coffee
Drinks
Eating Out
Education
House (DIY, furniture, etc)
Kids
Lunch
Mortgage
Pets
Rent
Take Aways
Travel
Vehicle (Tax, maintenance, fuel, insurance, etc)

We’re going to be working on a feature which will allow you to add custom tags or create custom categories in the app, very soon. We totally agree that not all customers view their finances in the same way and that people want flexibility. So it’s not ready yet, but please do stick with us until it is as we’d love to hear what you think of it.
