When I try and connect my Sainsbury’s credit card, the Sainsbury’s app returns an error: BALCON6
This error comes from linking via the Sainsbury’s app which SNOOP uses at it’s primary method.
If I pause the Sainsbury’s app, it then tries to authorise via the web site. Despite successful login, there is another error which indicates that it has failed to retrieve all accounts.
I can login and use the Sainsbury’s app normally and login via the website.
Any ideas what I could do or is this a bug in the API?
Hello, I submitted the information as requested but nobody has responded.
My question is - is this a dead end? If I can’t use Snoop with my main credit card then it’s useless. Is anyone able to connect their Sainsbury’s credit card to Snoop?

Is it possible our replies are going into Spam or getting blocked in someway? The email address we are replying to is an academic one.
It is certainly possible to connect your Sainsbury’s credit card to Snoop. We asked Sainsbury’s what might be wrong and they asked you to check this:
If you login to the Sainsburys Bank app on your device and navigate to the “Settings” page on via the bottom menu.
Then scroll to the bottom of the page and send me the Version that is there.
Basically can you check you are using the latest version of their banking app available in the app store?
Hi @geggert1 can we pick this up via the email thread so we can discuss the specifics of your account outside of this public forum?
Have you found the emails we sent you now? If you reply that will go straight the Snoop team member who has been in touch with Sainsburys about this (Amy) and she will be able to support you from there.
