How to add a bill every 4 months?

Hi, I have a bill for kids Extra-Curricular activities which I pay every 4 months. I can’t find a way to add a bill with this frequency to Snoop.

For a manually created bill, there are preset frequencies which don’t work for this situation or I have to say it’s irregular.

Am I missing something?

Hi @freddyq sorry but right now we spot the following patterns:

  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Quarterly
  • Six Monthly
  • Annual
  • Irregular

We don’t currently support every 4 months. So Irregular would be the way to set this one up at the moment.

Thanks. There is still a limitation though that for some reason I can only set a next payment date a certain number of weeks in the future and no more. So I can’t actually set the next payment to 4 months out. Why is that?

We try and hide away some of this complexity @freddyq in app, but our AI forecasts a pattern of future payments based on the history of payments and current frequency setup on that bill.

We then let customers adjust payment dates of each forecasted payment. However, the date of one forecast can’t be adjusted to go past the date of the next one in the sequence. Otherwise this causes lots of confusion when it comes to matching payments to the bill in future.

So what you’d need to do is here is ‘skip’ one or more of the forecasted projected payment dates. There is an option in the app that says ‘I’m not making this payment’ and that moves the date onto the next forecasted payment in the sequence.

It’s quite difficult to explain - so if any of this doesn’t make sense or if you need any help with it, just drop us a line from the app (there is a support link on each bill) and we can do this for you.

Ok I think I’ll take you up on that as I just need to make sure I understand how I’m setting the bill up.
