Annual Budgets would be a game changing feature for me. Currently, “lumpy” annual spending throws off my budget tracking, so it’s hard to see whether I am on target or not. The only solution i have found is to exclude lumpy annual spending from spend analysis, so I can’t use the app to track this.

I envisage an Annual Budgets feature as an “Annual” flag on a budget category. I might have annual budget categories for annual bills, holidays and gifts for example. The Bill timeline would detect which bills fall into an annual category. The Budget view would be able to switch between annual and monthly views, so I can see how I am doing on both budgets.

When you do a custom spending report it allows you to exclude accounts. If it would allow you to exclude categories, then that would help me to see spend over a chosen period which excludes "Holidays” for example. I tend to have a seperate annual budget for holidays so like to see if I am on track once holiday spending is excluded.
